Comprehensive Master Development Plan

The Tipp City Comprehensive Master Development Plan (CMDP) was drafted in 2002 by the Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission, with significant input from the Tipp City Council, Planning Board, stakeholders, and the public at-large.  The CMDP was recommended to Council by the Tipp City Planning Board on December 10th, 2002 and adopted by the Tipp City Council on January 6th, 2003.

What is a Comprehensive Master Development Plan?

Comprehensive Master Development Plan is an official document adopted by a government as a broad statement of public policies to guide decisions about the physical, social and economic development of a community.  Tipp City's Comprehensive Plan covers all areas within the City limits, and includes a vision for the  extraterritorial subdivision jurisdiction.  The CMDP is a policy document that serves as a guide for the management of future development, growth, and change within Tipp City.  The CMDP is broken down into the following sections:

  • Planning Process
  • Community Profile
  • Housing Trends
