       Basic Life Support Manual     Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers

Course Description

The BLS Healthcare Provider Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. The course is intended for certified or noncertified, licensed or nonlicensed healthcare professionals.

Intended Audience

Healthcare providers such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists, physician's assistants, residents or fellows, or medical or nursing students in training, aides, medical or nursing assistants, police officers, and other allied health personnel. 


 

  Heartsaver CPR/AED Manual    Heartsaver® CPR/AED

Course Description

The Heartsaver CPR / AED Course is designed to provide a wide variety of workplace employees the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.

Note: Heartsaver AED and Heartsaver First Aide can be combined into one class series.


Heartsaver First Aid Manual    Heartsaver® First Aid

Course Description

The Heartsaver First Aid Course is designed to provide a wide variety of workplace employees,  the ability to manage illness and injuries in the first few minutes until professional help arrives.  Course content includes General Principles, Medical Emergencies, Injury Emergencies and optional Environmental Emergencies section.  For those who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements.

Note: Heartsaver AED and Heartsaver First Aide can be combined into one class series.


  Family and Friends Manual  Family and Friends

 

Course Description

The Family & Friend CPR program contains information on how to perform CPR in adults, children, or infants and how to help an adult, child                        or infant who is chocking.  For use by family members, friends and members of the general community who want to learn CPR but donot need a course completion card.

This program also can be a non-credentialed option for middle and high school students.
