Note From Chief Mark Senseman   

We transport customers to 5 regional hospitals including a level 1 trauma center, burn center and a pediatric hospital. In addition catheterization labs,  stroke and high risk ob/gyn specialties are available 24 hours a day. 

The staff includes a full time Chief, 15 volunteers and 15 part time employees who answer 1400 calls each year. Denise Grove, MD, FACEP has been our Medical Director for 16 years. Part-time and full-time staff members stay in the station while on duty.  Volunteers respond from home or from other activities within Tipp City or Monroe Township while on call. Many of our volunteers and part time staff have progressed to full time work as Paramedics, Nurses, Doctors and Police Officers.

The Division operates three advanced life support equipped ambulances and two basic life support equipped first response trucks.  We respond from the Safety Building at 520 W. Main Street. Normally, we assign an on duty staff of one Paramedic and two EMT's to the first due ambulance. An Officer on Duty and an EMT are assigned to the second ambulance.  Any available staff responds to calls for the second and third ambulance.  The Fire Department is automatically dispatched on any call involving rescue operations.

The Division participates in several community activities each year including; Safety City for incoming Kindergarten students, Safety Days at McDonalds and Voss Honda, High School athletic events and the annual 3 day Mum Festival.
