EMS Fees
Tipp City EMS Division is a fee for service operation. We began charging for services in 1985. The fees supplement the money which comes from the general fund of the City. Thus, we can avoid increasing the percentage of our budget which comes from tax dollars. When we started charging for service, most public services did not. By 1995 about one third of public EMS services had charges for service and the number is increasing rapidly.
Insurance claims are filed for Tipp EMS by Medicount Management. For questions regarding the status of your account, contact Medicount Management at 1-800-962-1484.
