American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Sign

This project bid cost is $212,210 awarded to John R. Jurgensen & is being funded 100% by the American Reinvestment & Recovery Act stimulus money. Note schedule below. Tipp City is the LPA (Local Public Agency), about 60% of the southern half of Evanston Road is maintained by the Miami County Engineer's Office, the remaining 40% of the southern half & all of the northern half of the road is maintained by Tipp City.

Pavement grinding for the Evanston Road Resurfacing Project began on August 29, 2009 and the asphalt resurfacing placed the first week of September. The Project was completed by the John R. Jurgensen Co. on September 8th, including berming and pavement striping. This 8000 foot long asphalt resurfacing project was performed from Co. Rd. 25A easterly to the CSX Railroad, east of S. Hyatt Street in the City of Tipp City and Monroe Township using ARRA Stimulus funds.
