Senior Safety Checks

The Tipp City Police Department offers a daily check-in service for the senior citizens of the community.  The program is available to all senior citizens, especially those who live alone at their residence.  Once they have enrolled in the program, they are asked to call the Police Department each morning to inform them that they are okay.  If a call is not received within a reasonable about of time, the Police Department will attempt to contact the individual by telephone.  If no one answers the telephone, an officer will go to the residence to check on the wellbeing of the individual.
