How do I apply for a zoning permit?

In order to apply for a zoning permit, the following is needed:

  1. A completed application.
  2. A site plan delineating all property lines, easements, any existing structures, and the proposed position of the structure you are applying for.  City staff can usually provide a basic site plan of your property.  However, you are required to provide the dimensions of the proposed structure (shed, fence, deck, etc.) and the exact location of the proposed structure in relation to your property lines.
  3. The appropriate permit fee payable to the City of Tipp City (cash or check).

Permits are issued in person at the Tipp City Government Center, 260 S. Garber Drive.
