Our safety services offer average emergency response times of four to five minutes. Tipp City takes pride in the long and robust history of parks and recreational opportunities for residents, visitors, and business partners. Tipp City has over 837 acres of neighborhood, regional, prairie reserves, and community parks throughout the city. The Buckeye Trail (multiuse recreational trail system) runs through Tipp City along the old Miami-Erie Canal, and connects to Vandalia, Dayton, and hundreds of miles of trails south of Tipp City.

Operations

Tipp City operates under a City Council/Manager form of government. The City Manager is responsible for the day to day management of Tipp City and its departments: 

Tipp City’s efficient use of revenues and resources has allowed city leaders to also invest in city infrastructure. Tipp City has invested more than $43 million during the past decade for new roads, parks, water and sewer improvements, and other infrastructure capital.
