After a lengthy review of the requirements put in front of us by the Governor of the State of Ohio and the Ohio Department of Health, Tipp City has come to the difficult decision to close the Tippecanoe Family Aquatic Center for the 2020 season. The mandates put down by the state, specifically maintaining 6 ft. of social distancing both in and out of the water, would make it impossible for us to operate effectively. We understand the importance of the aquatic center to this community, however, the safety and interests of our residents and surrounding communities are of our utmost concern. This decision was not entered into easily. We are truly sorry and hope everyone can make the most out of this summer through other safer outlets.
The City of Tipp City is in the process of refunding all pool passes & swim lessons sold for the 2020 aquatic center season. If you paid via a credit card, please watch for the refund over the next couple of weeks. All patrons that made their payment by cash, check or money order will receive a refund check over the next few weeks. All patrons should receive their refund by the end of June.
We appreciate your continued support of the Aquatic Center and look forward to the possibility of a more normal pool season in 2021.
