Overview
The Board of Appeals is a five (5) member board, from among the qualified electors of the City. Each board member serve a three (3) year term and may not serve more than four (4) consecutive either full or partial terms. Board members hear and determine appeals from administrative decisions, petitions for variances in the case of peculiar and unusual circumstances and hardships which would prevent the reasonable use of land, and property maintenance issues and any such other matters as may be required by Council.
